      You can post any specimen. We suggest you post the shells you are very familiar to. Within a certain species, different subspecies, different location, different parten, or freak shells ,living pictures are all welcomed to provide. Our vision is to build a huge database of shells.

   The database will be built by all conchologists and for all conchologists

     We have a very powerful search tool

      If you search with the key word Cypraeidae, you will get all cowries

      If you search with a genus name, you will get all shells in that genus

      If you search  China, you will get all shell collected from China

      If you search   Sowerby, you will find all shells named by Sowerby

     If you search  1758, you will get all shells named in year 1758

     If you search by 17, you will get all shells named in the 18th century

     ..............

     You can search any word you like.
